Fingerprint Room Japan is a sole provider for all fingerprinting needs such as digital fingerprinting service in Japan, Canadian RCMP police certificate, FBI criminal record check and document authentication/apostille services.

Currently, Japanese police departments, such as Tokyo Metropolitan Police, offers ink fingerprinting service but cannot sign or stamp the fingerprint forms (RCMP C216, FBI FD258). In fact, Osaka police departments has stopped offering fingerprint service due to this reason. See article. Without the certification from appropriate agency, fingerprint cards are inadmissible to accredited fingerprint companies in Canada and FBI channelers for digitizing fingerprints to conduct background checks. Self taken fingerprints are not admissible and is illegal for agencies to process them.

Fingerprint Room Japan offers both ink and digital fingerprinting services. As an affiliate of RCMP accredited fingerprint companies in Canada, all fingerprint forms taken at Fingerprint Room Japan will be certified and reviewed to ensure they meet or exceed the quality and clarity requirements for obtaining a criminal background check.

At Fingerprint Room Japan, fingerprints are taken digitally with our FBI affiliated program by our professionally trained and certified staff. To obtain FBI or RCMP background checks, these digital fingerprints can be submitted electronically for a more secure and rapid submission. Ink fingerprinting services are also available for specific circumstances, such as US State background checks for State Bar of California, California Board of Registered Nurses, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) checks.
